Oprah and The Talk - Are There Angels?

The day after her amazing Streisand tribute, Oprah featured "John of God," the man who has been healing people for fifty-some years in Brazil.

Dr. Jeff Rediger, (oprah.com) who went to observe John of God at work, came away from his encounter radically changed. He said he now realizes our lives, and our selves, matter more than we can ever imagine. That the human alive on earth contains more dignity and purpose than we ever believed possible. What a beautiful reminder. I too believe this. But I usually forget.

Dr. Rediger also said we may feel alone, but we are not. We are surrounded by beings, always.

The following day, On "The Talk" (a new talk show), the subject was guardian angels, and whether they exist. I found it intriguing, even amazing, that these shows had such spiritual themes. Is it because we are approaching Hanukkah and Christmas? Is it a sign of the troubled times?

I believe in angels. Do you? Have you seen one? Been helped by one?

Dr. Jeff Rediger:
"Perhaps the real heart within us is not just a pump. Perhaps the real heart within us is about love and faith. Perhaps the physical body is not who we really are. Perhaps we are these invisible souls walking around, and the body is just an instrument or metaphor for something we are trying to learn."

I'd like to think that the beings that surround me are my dearly departed (my dad, sister and various animals!). I consider them angels and hope they are around all the time!!! Take care

My daughter believes in angels and 'guardian angels'. I told her mine then is asleep on the job ... as a matter of fact he probably has a fifty year growth of beard from sleeping under some pine tree.
I'm afraid I am not a very good believer. I seem to need the tanglibles ... the 'things' I can touch.
Nice thought though.

No sorry I do not believe in those kind of angels but I believe in you and you are and have so often been my little angel. If I was to believe in angels it would by my very nature mean I would believe in devils and I have seen enough horror and hate to last me till the end.

On visiting StonePost I was attracted to the name Angel Star. I am not disappointed to find this interesting Post. I believe in Angels most definitely and feel that I experience them in my life. My late husband and my youngest son are both angels, along with parents, grandparents and so many more friends. I write frequently on the subject on Indigo Dreaming..
