The Sky is Blue?

The sky is blue. it seems incontrovertible. yet. one could say with equal authority the sky is gray. white. orange. depending on the weather and the time of day, right? shall we disagree about this and kill one another over it? i think not.

maybe we can agree on this: the sky is the sky. the sky is.

and what of God? so many pretending to know, convinced they know, who he likes and who he hates and what he is and how and where. if we disagree, shall we kill one another over the color of God? the name of God?

maybe we can agree. God is God. God is good. God is.

as a peacemaker i am so weary of the fighting, the wars, the arguments, the opinions, the ideology some are willing to kill for. i feel like giving up. what will happen if all the peacemakers give up?

just now i feel qite zen about this. even if i give up, the sky will still be the sky. and God will still be God.

Hello:
This is a most timely and apposite post given current affairs and the seemingly 'godless' times in whch we live. However, we have the mantra that hope springs eternal and so we 'hope' do the peacemakers!

I do like the idea of what you say. Unfortunately those who want power and are greedy, are almost impossible forces for the peacemakers to ever win over to your philosophy.

If people spent as much energy working to better society as they do in hating other people, what a wonderful world this would be!

Long life peacemakers everywhere.
Will you also tolerate those who may doubt there is a God?

You are so right Angel-Starr, arguing becomes
tiresome and is always futile.

Angel-Star I have just watched a programme on the growth of Christianity in China. So much of it underground, but unable to be stopped. We are all looking for 'something.' It is just a shame that greed is behind the evil in our world today. People being ordered to battle in wars in which there can be no 'winners. God is good. I have begun to pray The Rosary in the belief that it is 'to Jesus through Mary.'
